Homer is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years – Mary Diaz; sons, Mark Diaz and David Diaz; brother, Hector; sisters, Mimi and Margo; his grandchildren, Antonio, Daniel, and Gabrielle; son, Albert; and daughter, Glendora.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106, on September 27, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
