Aunt Iris gave me a kitten when I was 10 years old. She was so sweet and loved to read. Whenever I saw her at Grandma Barnes house, she would ask me what I was reading. (Little Women) She was always so nice to me and took time to talk about things. What a beautiful lady! She is in Heaven with her family singing and rejoicing. God Bless and be with the family.

My Dear Iris...When we used to sing and play guitars together when we were young, we often sang and harmonized "WILL THE CIRCLE BE UNBROKEN'..with LINK....You sang like an angel....
Well...Now you ARE one! And HEAVEN'S BAND OF ANGELS just became even MORE beautiful. I love you Iris. See you again soon....Rest in Peace. Your Friend and Sister in Law...Ruthie Barnes Steele
