Preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Bauer, his father, Jack Bauer, also his brother and sister.
Survived by his fiancée of 30 years Sharon Swingholm; daughter and son-in-law, Todd and Julie Ludwick; grandchildren, Stephanie, Chelsea, and Johnny Ludwick and Ricky and Sarah Malik; aunt, Cheryl Dietz, aunt, Noreen Dietz, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Jack loved to fish and visit with friends. He graduated from Benson High School in Omaha. Jack was a union carpenter for many years.
