Laura and Justin! I was saddened to hear about the death of your Dad. I remember some of the fun times that your Uncle Loren and I had with your Mom and Dad.
The biggest memory for me is how your Dad used to put ketchup on everything...even a big, juicy steak!

Please know that I have both of you, as well as your families, in my thoughts and prayers. 🙏. Jan

I AM WRITING THIS FOR GLEN. HE IS UNABLE TO WRITE SO I WILL TRY TO LET YOU KNOW HIS FEELINGS. JIM AND GLEN SPENT MANY GREAT TIMES TOGETHER AT COLLEGE AND IN THE YEARS THAT FOLLOWED. THE TWO OF THEM COULD SIT AND TALK AND LAUGH FOR HOURS. I AM UNABLE TO TELL YOU HOW THIS REALLY EFFECTS GLEN BUT I KNOW THAT JIM HAS AND ALWAYS WILL HOLD A SPECIAL ALMOST BROTHER LIKE PLACE IN GLEN'S HEART. HIS MEMORIES WILL ALWAYS BE OF A GREAT GUY AND DEAR FRIEND. HE WILL BE DEARLY MISSED BUT WE ARE GRATEFUL WE HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF KNOWING HIM. WE ARE SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. GLEN AND VANGE HARRIED

Uncle Jim was the fairest of the dashing Simpson boys, the only one of the 3 with blue eyes. He so reminded me of his dear Mom, my Grandma Bea, in his expressions. His oldest brother, my Dad Wally, has memory lapses but already misses Jim, his sense of humor and just knowing he’s around. James Joseph, quite a guy, he tells me. Jim rooted for his family - his amazing kids and grandsons - and for teams from his home state of Minnesota. I’m proud to be his niece.
