Jane Ann Schlichting
March 8, 1941 – January 12, 2021
Preceded in death by loving husband Duane; brother Lee Cummings; sister Carole Peterson. Survived by children Steven Schlichting and Amy (Jeff) Lovelady; grandchildren Haileigh Lovelady, Kari Lovelady, and Mike Lovelady; sister Alice (Don) Ladehoff; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Mon, Jan 25, from 10-11am. Funeral service will start at 11am. Both services will be at Westlawn Hillcrest Funeral Home.

Growing up across the street and being close friends with her daughter, Jane was like a loving second mother to me.
Her home was always an warm, welcoming place...her kitchen table always filled with treats to share, a caring ear to listen, a tender smile to lift your spirits.
Her daughter Amy, now all grown up with a daughter of her own, is exactly like Jane and I am proud to called her a best friend for life.
I am so sorry for your loss, Amy and Steve, but it is a comfort to know she is with your father who was equally as kind. I pray you find solace recalling your happiest memories, as well as the comfort of your sibling support to one another.
