I had the fortune to grow up living next door to this wonderful woman and her family. This was back in time where everyone in the neighborhood treated you as their own, and Jan was no exception. I remember her and my mom hunting Margie and I down when we were supposedly going for a “walk” but were really around the corner flirting with the neighbor boys, and sending Ken in his pickup to pick up all of us kids in snow storms to keep us safe. If love had a face it would look like Jan! Love you and will hold your memory always. RIP Mrs Brown.

I was never a huggy touchy person, but you can’t meet mom and dad brown and not be. Coming or going in the house there was always a hug. Always a big smile and just as big of a heart. She always smiled and told us to have a good time at Saint Crossroads. Because I had to go to church every Sunday. Love you and miss you Mama Brown. You will always be in my fondest memories.
