She is survived by her twin sister, Jann Tawzer of Littleton, CO, sister Juli Wilkerson (Bill) of Gig Harbor, WA; children Goldin Doles (Chris) of Gig Harbor, WA & Cody Tawzer (Amanda) of San Diego, CA; grandchildren Saylor & Coral Doles and granddog Wrigley; and many cousins, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father Jim Tawzer, mother Joanne O’Shea Monaco, and stepdad Al Monaco.
Along with her love of and devotion to her family & friends, Jean loved gardening and was a proud member of the Douglas/Sarpy County Master Gardeners Program. She also enjoyed golfing, bowling, and cheering on her favorite sports teams especially the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Before retiring, Jean owned her own commercial and residential landscaping business. She also enjoyed meeting & interacting with people throughout her years in retail. She also spent years as a catering manager, putting on many events all across the Omaha Metro area.
A brief service followed by a celebration of life will be held at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home (5701 Center St. in Omaha) on January 11, 2024 from 1:30-4 p.m.
