The Fagans send our collective respects for your wonderful Mom whose laughter filled our home many nights with that big group of people they all hung out with. We know some of your parents best times were with their oldest friends from the neighborhood over by Visitation and they will never be forgotten. God Bless Her.

Our sincere condolences to Joan's family. We only knew her a short time, she came to Guardian Angels with Judy to play bunko with us and she truly enjoyed playing and having fun. We will always remember her spunky spirit. God Bless you, Joan.

I extend my sympathy and prayers to the family of Joan Dobel.  During the 7 years I worked at the University of Saint Mary in the Development Office, '97 - '04, I had many occasions to visit Joan at Reunions, special events on campus and at her home.  She always extended a warm welcome and often expressed her love of Saint Mary.  She was always a joy to visit with and was in important Alumnae.  I am happy to have known her.  She was an inspiration in many ways.  My wife, Kitty, joins me in expressing our sympathy as she also meet Joan several times at Saint Mary.  With warm affection and prayers, Len & Kitty Bronec

I send all Dobel's my deep respect and admiration.  Your entire family were wonderful neighbors and babysitters on Crestwood Drive.  Engaging with the Dobel's meant so much to my parents, Mary and Jim, who both admired and respected your mom and dad, and all family members.  I send you my heartfelt condolences.

The Potluck Supper group is now all gathered together again.  My sincere condolences to the entire Dobel family on the loss of your mother.  She was always a good friend to my own mother who so appreciated her bringing the Eucharist to her each week during her own illness.

To all the Dobel family
   I will be with you in prayer and spirit on Monday as you accompany Joan on her journey to God's place for her.  So many nice memories of her, of your father, & of each of you from those years at St Francis Xavier from 1970-75.  But in a community of faith in Jesus Christ, we know the best is yet to come and Joan is now enjoying it.  May the Lord comfort you in your time of loss.

My grandmother was an amazing lady. She was my inspiration to go out into this world and try to leave it a better place than I found it. When I was six, she told me she continued to volunteer as long as she could because the good Lord put her on this earth for extra years for a reason, and she intended to use them. I hope others were as inspired by her as I was, and continue to be.
