I miss you uncle John. 
You were a huge influence in my life.
I  learned so much from you.  You treated me like the son you never had.  You will never be forgotten.

When I first met Uncle Johnny, his smile lit up the room and his heart made me feel at ease. I admired his calm and direct ways. He was always excited with a sparkle of mischief.  His Nephew Gary Jr enjoyed his time with Uncle Johnny talking car builds and motorcycles.  Watching Randy race and the love shared through motorcross while racing in Colorado was fast, dirty and competitive. Fun times cherished in our hearts. Also we all enjoyed Uncle Johnny and Grandma Mary talk about their adventures, especially when Uncle Johnny took her on a ride, peddle to the medal as he said and Grandma speaking about the air flying through her hair and the taste of freedom she felt. Those two were amazing to see together. He will be missed and at the sametime carried in our hearts. Thank you 💕 Uncle Johnny.

Johnny and I shared a love for cars and going fast. We talked on the phone and it was always about our cars. He painted his El Camino the same color I painted my Corvette . He always had a smile when we talked and great story to tell me about his latest project and the mistakes we learned from. He was a fellow gear head and the stories we shared will always be with me. 
He will be missed but always in my memories.

John was a kind, giving, amazing person.  He was a lifelong friend of my father Ray, working on cars together most often but doing many projects together over the years.  Recently they also worked together to change the world to make it a better place and leave it more just than they found it.  

John will be missed by all who knew him.  My thoughts, prayers and sympathies to all his family and friends.

John was the most wonderful Uncle a person could ever ask for. 
When I was young he took me under his wing to try and make sure I didn't go down the wrong path.  
When I reached the age of 16 he bought me a motorcycle and he gave me the best years of my life racing Motocross.  
Then later on in life we spent most of our time working on cars. 
He was more than an uncle to me,
he was a second father and my best friend and I truly loved him for that. 

John and i were friends so long ago but I still have such fond memories . He was always a good man and  am sure he will be welcomed with open arms in heaven

Mike and I was so shocked by Johnies sudden death.  We are so thankful for his 50 some years of friendship. He was a giving soul inside and out. He will be deeply missed. Our deepest sympathy to his family and other friends.  See ya John. Mike and Jean Dailey
