John Douglas Cleveland, age 87, of Omaha, Nebraska passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. He was born in Hornick, IA, the son of Ward and Pauline "Polly" (Shattuck) Cleveland. John served in the Air Force. He retired from Union Pacific Railroad. He was a die-hard Nebraska Husker fan. He was a member of the Masonic Order.
John is preceded in death by his parents, Ward and Polly Cleveland; and son, Michael E. Cleveland. He is survived by his son, John L. Cleveland; grandchildren, Kyle D. Cleveland, and Kayla M. Cleveland; great-grandson, Declan M. Cleveland; sisters, Virginia Hartman, Rosalie Weary (Jim), and Cathe McKee; nieces and nephews; many cousins, relatives and friends.
