Almost a year has past and it still hurts just like it was yesterday!  I miss you so much and so do the boys!  The only comfort we have is that you are now our guardian angel!  Love you!

Julie Kearney was my gym coach at congress middle school. she was the reason i grew to love P.E. she was all smiles and no hate. Kearney was the person that made me happy, always made me laugh. it seems not to long ago i was just talking to her, and now that she's gone i was devastated to hear the news. i will never forget her awesomeness, and her loving soul.She always put others before her no matter the situation. i was sad to know she was leaving Congress, and now that's she is officially gone, i can't believe that this day was even here.

Coach Kearney was the best coach any person could have.She will be dearly missed by everyone and all of her students. Coach was amazing and she always made other people feel better. She always put her friends, family, and students before her. i Love you coach K, and i will forever miss you! You made the highlight of my middle school year. And you always made me feel better when ever i was down. Rest In Peace.

Personally Kearney was my favorite coach ever and the reason why I have grown love sports.  I'm not the only one missing her, the whole high school is in shock. In fact, we all looooved her and enjoyed seeing her bright smile everyday. Park Hill is sad to hear that she is gone and we hold prayers out to the family. You will never be forgotten Coach K. My name is Sara Bay, I was one one Coach K's students, i am in total devestation about your loss, coach k was someone one i could go to when i was feeling down. She was my fav teaher and nopw she is gone i am so sorry. i will keep her in my prayers.

Ms kearney had been a coach at my school she had happened to be my first best friend I was new to the school and she was really nice talking to me and sometimes I would spend the whole hour talking to her and she was just a really great person. We could have told stories for a long time and a lot of the other students would talk with us too and she was just a really great person I was devastated when I heard she was moving from our school and I am now even more sad. We all miss you coach K and I hope you remember all of us you truly were the nicest person I ever knew.

Coach Kearney was an amazing person, and an amazing coach. She wanted to teach kids how to exercise properly, an truly cared about us. I'd have to say she was the best coach I've ever had, and will most deffinaty be missed. Rest in peace coach k.

A friend, a teacher, a thrill seaker. She was such an amazing person with her exciting and fun personality. Julie(Coach Kearney) will always stay in my heart. And as much as it saddened me to say goodbye on my last day of 8th grade, the pain i feel is devastating. But i find true comfort in knowing that i spent some of her good joys with her. Coach Kearney was a coach at Congress Middle School where I go. She left last year, but she was an amazing coach. We all found out she died about a week ago. We were all so sad, she was a super nice person. Rest in peace Coach K. <3

Though it saddens me that Julie was here on this world for what felt like a brief time, I find comfort in knowing that I got to share some of that time with Julie, she helped better many lives, not just my own.  My heart pours out to the Kearney family and all of her many friends.  You are beautiful Julie and always will be in the hearts and minds of many.

Julie was such a dear, good friend to Daniella when they were in high school and we were blessed to have had her in our lives.  
When we hear of her passing this poem came to mind;

A CHILD LOANED
I'll lend you for a little time a child of mine, He said, "For you to love the while she lives, and mourn for when she's dead.  She may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three, but will you till I call her back, take care of her for me?  She'll bring her charm to gladden you, and should her stay be brief, you'll have her lovely memories as solice for your grief.
I cannot promise she will stay, since all from earth return, but there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn.  I've looked the wide world over in my search for teachers true and from the throng that crowd life's lanes I have selected you.  Now will you give her all your love, nor think the labour's vain, nor hate me when I come to call and take her back again?
I fancied that I heard them say, "Dear Lord, thy will be done, for all the joys thy child shall bring the risk of grief we'll run.  We'll shelter her with tenderness, we'll love her while we may and for the happiness we've known forever grateful stay.  But should the angels call for her much sooner than we'd planned, we'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand.

It's very hard to hear about such a tragic loss. Ms. Kearney was one of the P.E teachers at my school. I'll always remember her as a sweet, bubbly, free-spirited individual.
I remember when she she looked at me and said "You're cool!" and that was only in September.

Julie Anne Kearney- April is the most beautiful month of the year, it was the month that “Jules” came into our lives. Just days before she came to the earth; the flowers wanted to bloom and the grass wanted to be green. When Julie arrived, the flowers opened up and brought beauty to the dull earth. People stopped to admire the flowers and danced on the greenest grass.  Julie can now admire the flowers and dance for eternity with happiness. I love you, Julie.

I have struggled for days to figure out what to write.  Nothing can touch what I am feeling... My deepest and more heartfelt sympathies to the Kearney family.  I worked with Julie at Spellman Center and stayed in touch with her after we both left.  Ms. Kearney, Joules always spoke such wonderful things about you.
