Karen “Karey” Louise Mayfield Dierking, 59, passed away on October 25, 2024, after a brave battle with cancer. Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Karen was a proud and dedicated Account Executive, where her commitment left a lasting impact. Known for her creativity, humor, and love, Karen was a mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many. Karen cherished life’s simple joys: tending her garden, escaping to her favorite spot in Florida, and celebrating holidays with her unique flair and warmth. She is survived by her children, Cory, Christina, and Catherine White; her mother, stepfather, and five siblings; and countless friends and loved ones.
A memorial service for Karen will be held Friday, November 8, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Divine Shepherd Lutheran Church, 15005 Q St, Omaha, Nebraska 68137. Following the memorial service will be a burial at 12:30 PM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106.
