Preceded in death by husband Gary Bennett. Survived by son Jeff (Leah) Thomas; step-daughters Andrea (Scott) Jackson and Shannan (Rich) Bretey; grandchildren Alyssa Marie Thomas, Ariel Jane Thomas, Teresa Joy Thomas, Brenden Jackson, Shelby "Alynna" Jackson; first husband Raymond Thomas; family and friends. Visitation will be Friday, March 15, from 4-5pm at St. Timothy Lutheran Church (510 N 93rd St. Omaha). Funeral Service will be following the visitation starting at 5pm. The family requests that patrons wear Husker/red attire in rememberance of Katherine. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Timothy Lutheran Church.
