She was preceded in death by her parents, Adele and Larry Dayton; sister, Betsy; brother, Tom; nephew, Doug; and niece, Anne. Kathy is survived by her beloved sister, Jeanie; nieces, Maggie and Karen; nephew, Tom; her life partner of 40 years, Bart Dennis; and his son Bret. She has 16 grandnieces and grandnephews who affectionately called her "Aunt Kat".
Kathy was an avid gardener with a passion for nurturing beautiful spaces. She enjoyed traveling with Bart and visiting memorable destinations such as Yellowstone National Park, Lake Tahoe, and Walker, Minnesota, a place that held special memories throughout her life. Surrounded by the warmth of home, Kathy's final days were filled with peace and comfort. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Kathy's memorial service will be held Saturday, March 15, at 11 a.m. at Westlawn-Hillcrest.
