Preceded in death by parents, Claude and Jessie Smith; brother, Claude Smith; husband, Wayne T. the first; sons, Leland and Dale. Survived by grandchildren: Kris (Dean) Cudly, Beth (Don) Keyser, Jocelyn Ryan, Wayne T. Kirby II, Michael T. Kirby; six great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren. Katherine was a long-standing member and volunteer of Faith-Westwood United Methodist Church, Worthy Matron and 50+ year member of Adah Chapter No. 52, Order of Eastern Star. She was a 28-year volunteer at the Millard Good Samaritan Society.
VISITATION: Tuesday, February 20, from 5-8pm with Eastern Star Service at 7pm at Crosby Burket Funeral Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday, February 21, at 11am at Faith-Westwood United Methodist Church, 4814 Oaks Ln., in Millard. Burial to follow at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park. Memorials to Faith-Westwood United Methodist Church, Millard Good Samaritan Society or Samaritan Counseling Center.
