Kelly Pease

Kelly Pease, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home on March 3, 2025, in Omaha, Nebraska. Kelly was born on April 2, 1952, in Bloomfield, NE to Robert and Maxine Pease.

Kelly married the love of his life, Sheri Pease, in 1978. Together they raised two wonderful children, Wade Pease (married to Lynette Pease) and Quinn Pease (married to Jill Pease). Kelly was a proud grandfather to three grandchildren: Emma, Tallie, and A.J. He is also survived by 4 brothers: Larry, Bob, Craig, and Randy Pease and families.

He attended Creighton High School and graduated in 1970, then he continued his education at the University of South Dakota, where he graduated with an Associates degree in Nursing and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 1976.

Kelly had a deep passion for genealogy and loved exploring his family history while reconnecting with relatives near and far. His enthusiasm was so great that some family vacations were even planned around visits to specific cemeteries.

Despite his long 16-year battle with cancer, Kelly always maintained his humorous sarcasm and positive outlook on life. Kelly will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

There will be a celebration of life held for Kelly on Saturday, March 8th, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home (5701 Center St, Omaha, NE 68106), including a small vigil starting at 3:15 PM. There will also be an additional celebration of life held in Norfolk, NE at a later day/time in the near future.
