

Kevin Lee Fender, age 56, of Logan, Iowa, passed away on Friday, August 29th, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. Kevin was born and raised in Omaha, where he made many friends. He graduated from Gross High School and was employed at First Data (now Fiserv). Kevin and Mary Tucker were married on June 3rd, 1998. In 2001, Kevin, Mary, and their children moved to Logan, Iowa. Kevin was a driving force behind his kids in sports. He had a passion for Husker football, as well as played sports himself throughout his life. He had a determination to excel at anything he set his mind to. He was stubborn to a fault, but was admired for his pride, strength and heart. Kevin and Mary's weekends were filled with family gatherings, attending sporting events, barbecues, and grandkids. Kevin enjoyed cooking for his family, tending to his beautiful lawn, Husker games, family get togethers, camping, and riding SXS (side by side UTVs) with family members and friends in the mountains near Meeker, Colorado.
Kevin is survived by his parents, Marvin Fender and Diane Claussen; his wife, Mary Fender; his children, Brandon Fender (Cheyanne), Nathan Fender (Isabelle), Kia Kemmet (Trevor), Tommy Fender (Lexie), Alexis Kyle (Jack); his siblings, Kim LeMaster (Jason), Melissa Combs (Mike), and Mike Dempsey (Heather); 11 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and an abundance of friends.
