She is survived by sisters, Kathe and Karen; brother, Paul (Michelle); nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and cousins.
Kristine went to Omaha Burke High School. She continued her education at Wayne State College with a Bachelors in Education.
She proceeded to help teach at Boyd, Minnie Lusa, and Indian Hill. She also worked at the Omaha World Herald for 27 years.
She loved to travel, cook, and needlework. She loved her family and delighted in the joy of all the children.

A Graveside Service will be held at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106, on July 13, 2026, at 11:00 am.
