A Resolution of Memorial for Brother Lawrence Ingram

No matter what your trials are, or how big your mountain seems; the LORD is there to see you through; HE'll go to all extremes. So, if your cross seems hard to bear, and you know not what to do; the ONE who loves us most of all will be there to see us through.

Whereas, the transition of Brother Lawrence Ingram is the will of GOD and there is a human tie that has been broken which bleeds the heart in agony and pain. We are encouraged and consoled in the words of CHRIST who said, "I Will Never Leave Thee nor Forsake Thee." and;

Whereas, Mount Calvary Community Church, feel it is befitting to express our sympathy to the family during the transition of Brother Lawrence Ingram. We commend you to HIM who knoweth all things and;

Whereas, the transition of Brother Ingram from life unto life eternal brings to mind the saying, “There are things that we don’t want to happen but have to accept, things we don’t want to know but have to learn, and people we can’t live without, but just have to let go.” Revelations 21 reminds us, “And GOD shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be any more pain: for the former things are passed away,” and;

Now therefore be it resolved by the Church at-large that Brother Ingram be accorded tribute as a memorial to his lifelong contributions to his community, and to the enrichment of the lives of his fellow man, and;

Be it further resolved that copies of this memorial be presented to the bereaved family of Brother Lawrence Ingram. This resolution will also be kept in the archives of Mount Calvary Community Church (Omaha NE).
