With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence, a cherished member of our community, who peacefully left this world on September 22, 2026, at the comfort of his home. Born on December 15, 1962, in Omaha, Nebraska, Lawrence was a beloved son of the late Lawrence Sr. and Flossie Tesch. He was predeceased by his parents, his half-sister Mary Funkhauser, and his half-brother Edward Wyatt.
Lawrence dedicated 35 years of his life to serving the city of Omaha as a Landscape Gardener. His commitment to beautifying the community was a testament to his love for nature and his desire to create spaces of peace and tranquility for others to enjoy.
Those who knew Lawrence will remember him for his infectious laughter and his playful, silly nature. His kindness was evident to all, and he had a special gift for bringing joy and smiles to those around him. A man of deep faith, Lawrence found solace and inspiration in reading the Bible every day, a practice that guided him throughout his life.
He leaves behind his siblings: Caroline and Christine, both residing in Omaha, Catherine from Griswold, Iowa, and Laureen who lives in Arkansas. Though he had no grandchildren, Lawrence's legacy of love and laughter will live on through his family and friends who cherished him dearly.
