Lena Martinez

Lena Arenas Martinez, 90 years old died on April 05, 2025, with her family by her side. Lena was born January 16,1935 in Lincoln, NE. She was the daughter of Leonard & Catalina Arenas. Lena had five brothers and one sister. Leonard, Mike, Joe (Guadalupe), Lencho (John), and Kenneth Arenas. Sister, Nellie Ortiz.

She married Daniel T Martinez on March 17, 1954. Dan being in the military they traveled and upon his retirement in 1974 they decided to live in Highland, CA.

Lena was preceded in death by her husband Daniel T. Martinez, sons Daniel Martinez Jr., David Michael Martinez, granddaughter Jessica Olaez, parents Leonard and Catalina and siblings, Leonard, Mike, Joe (Guadalupe), John (Lencho), and Nellie.

Lena is survived by her children, Sherry (Joe) Floro of Omaha, NE, Diana (Dan) Honeycutt, of Omaha, NE, Lynnette (Frank) Weisner of Highland, CA, Joseph (Shelly) Martinez of Clarksville, TN and John A. Martinez of Long Beach, CA. Her brother Kenneth Arenas of Omaha, NE

She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
