
With profound sadness, we announce the recent passing of our beloved Lindsay Anna Cook a.k.a. Winnie the Pooh, age 47. She was born on August 20, 1979 and peacefully passed away on September 6, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
She was a bright light in our lives and loved immensely. She affected the lives of everyone around her in a positive way and touched the hearts of many people throughout her life. Although she was beset with Rett Syndrome, she was always happy and adorned a beautiful, infectious smile and big brown eyes. She brought us so much warmth and joy, she will be deeply missed, and forever remembered. All the amazing memories of Lindsay will remain in the hearts of her family and all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Lindsay is preceded in death by grandparents Clarence and Iris Cook, Richard and Joan Bader, and Uncle Edward Nicola.
Survived by parents Gary and Jeannie Cook; sister Amanda and husband Doug Grounds; brother Gary Jr. and wife Jillian Cook; nieces and nephews, Carson and Leah Grounds, Tre(Gary III), Oliver, and Bodie Cook; Aunts Sue (Bader) and husband Tim Cogdill, Carol (Bader) Nicola, Patti (Cook) and husband John Rosenbaugh; Uncles Jim, Rich and wife Lisa, Andy, and Joe Bader along with many cousins and relatives.
