Marilynn was born October 26th of 1953 in Omaha, NE to Robert and Wanda Borgeson. She grew up with 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Preceded in death by parents, Martin Robert Borgeson and Wanda Lou Borgeson; and husband, Craig Neal Halverson.
She is survived by siblings, Bob (Mary) Borgeson, Linda Love, Rich (Coleen) Borgeson, Gloria Hoeper, and Barry (Lisa) Borgeson; children, Chad Schoville, Michael Schoville, Corey (Ely) Schoville, Matt (Andrea) Schoville, Calli (Logan) Everts; step-children, Craig "Oakie" (Brandy) Halverson, Billy Halverson, Annie (Joe) Adkins, and Craigie Halverson; along with lots of grandchildren, loving family, and friends.
Marilynn was known for being hard working with both her career while she was working and in everyday life. She excelled in medical billing and made many good friends along the way.
Marilynn was one of the most caring and big-hearted people you could ever meet, but she did have a rebellious side. Throughout her life her favorite and most proud accomplishment was each of her kids. As the years went on it only grew to include her many grandchildren. She was always known for her love of the holidays, Wizard of Oz, and the paranormal/spirit world. Christmas and Thanksgiving were her favorites as it was very important to have the family together during this time (despite any differences/disagreements). She had a nice collection of Wizard of Oz related items on display at home that she loved to look at everyday. It made her so happy. In regards to the paranormal I'm sure a lot of us can recall at least one story she had told us about. Marilynn enjoyed going to events like Mystic Fest where she would get readings done with psychics and mediums. That was another place that she had also made many friends.
She always had open arms and an open heart to anyone who needed it. Whether just being there to listen, a shoulder to cry on, enthusiastic baker of some of our favorite treats, or as a loving mother/grandmother/daughter/sister. For a lot of us she was one of our main go-to people during the happiest or saddest/hardest times in our lives. She made some of the best brownies and rice crispy treats (they were so good that many of us would bring some leftovers home... if there were any left!) Marilynn was someone who (even if she didn't say it often) loved with all of her heart. She will be missed dearly by everyone that knew her.
