Michael was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He worked for many years as a plumber and took tremendous pride in his work. More than anything, Michael loved his family and friends. His children and grandchildren were a tremendous source of love and joy in his life, and the memories they shared with him will be cherished forever.
Michael enjoyed the simple things that made life special. He loved being outdoors, fixing his Suburban, birdwatching-especially looking for eagles- and, most importantly, spending time with the people he loved. Sunday NASCAR races were a favorite tradition, and those Sundays will forever bring back cherished memories of him.
Michael will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on through his children and grandchildren and through the many moments of love, laughter, and time spent together.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106, on August 18, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
