Those left to cherish Michael's memory include his brothers, David "Dave" Widger and Lawrence "Larry" Widger; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Michael was a professional chef for 40 years, 19 of which he spent cooking at UNMC. He had a deep faith and a good sense of humor.
Please join us in celebrating Michael's life with a visitation on Saturday, January 14 from 2:00-6:00 pm at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, with memory sharing to begin at 5:00 pm.
