You don't know me but I am Dr. Jeff Knajdl's mother and I heard from Barb Clinkenbeard, Michelle had passed away.  My heart is greatly saddened for the loss you and your children and Michelle's family.  I read the guest book and can only imagine how her passing has saddened so many hearts.  Jeff has been gone almost 3 years now.  I wished I had him here to listen to the stories he would have to share about Michelle.  The world was a much brighter place having Michelle and God bless us with having her here for an all beit a much too short of time.  God bless all of you, Jeff's Mom

So sorry to hear about Dr. Cassidy passing away.(I heard about it late as I misplaced the letter from her office.)She was a real nice lady and my son and I liked going to see her. My son and I are praying for you family's comfort.

Dr. Cassidy always greeted us with a smile Jordan was alway so glad to go see her!  He was never ready to go to therapy at first, but after their first two visits she had him wanting to go!  I just recently heard as I was scheduling an appointment for him to go see her!!  He said he is really sad and how will he find comfort in someone again! Our prayers are with you all as she was such a kind, loving, caring, compassionate woman! Jordan love and misses you and is now hoping you are his guardian angel!

When we heard of Dr.Cassidy's passing, it was as if a precious family member had been taken from us. She was the first phychiatrist to give our family the hope and help that we needed. Quick to smile and full of acceptance, she truly was a blessing to us and to all that knew her. She will never be replaced and we wish her family the comfort that they need.

Oh I am heart broken for her children.  I remember when Dr. Cassidy was pregnant with her youngest.  She was such a wonderful person to work with, and she always had so much patience with my daughter and her antics.  After 8+ years of helping my daughter with her meds and her issues, she really felt like a family friend.  I trusted her unequivocally and was even comfortable emailing her when my daughter would pull something, rather than hauling her in the office to talk about meds.  I shall really REALLY miss her, and my daughter will to.  My thoughts are with her family, and my apologies for my late response.  I just found out what happened today.

Dr. Cassidy will be missed so much.  She was more like a friend than a doctor.  Both Tre and I enjoyed seeing her and keeping her updated on his progress (and that of our dogs!) May you each find comfort in happy memories and Jesus promise of everlasting life.

Dr. Cassidy will be greatly missed.  When my family received the news of her passing it was like losing a family member.  She had a major rule in my sons life and gave him the tools and stregth to over come is disablity.  No one will be able to replace her.  Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Dr. Cassidy was a great lady and very kind.  We were so sad to hear that she had passed away.  My Mom and I both cried.  She was my doctor for six years and I saw her in March and she was so happy for my graduation.  We talked about our favorite movies and vacations.  She knew how to help me and she listened.  She gave me great advice and we called them "Cassidy" theories!  She was a great Mom.  I miss her so much.  May she rest in peace and I want her family to know  that we are praying for them.

Our family would like to deeply thank her for all she did to help our son and brother, Matt deal so excellently with his issues. She  was the one that kept Matt on track through his medicine to get to where he is today. We owe Michelle so very much gratitude for all she did. She was one of the brightest stars that always was so interested in our family and school affairs. She would always ask each visit, "Hows it goin guys" with a smile.

Dr. Cassidy was my sons Dr. for 10 years, when he decided to quit taking his medication when he turned 18, she respected the decision and told him she would be waiting if he needed her. Dr. Cassidy was a rock for me - she kept me grounded . She was always calm and she did not make mountains out of molehills ( especially when I did).  She was my Dr/confidante for about 10 years.  She was an angel.  She helped me get disability benefits which went way and beyond the call of duty.  Most of all she trusted me and was respectful -always.  She listened to a patients point of view and was open to hear a suggestion or just to listen.  She was so good at it that I didn't even know she was ill.  This was a shocker to me. Shelly & I went to school together for 7th & 8th grade at McMillan, followed by 9th grade at Horace Mann & on to high school at Burke.  I felt a special connection to her because we had gone to school together at those various schools.  She was one of my close friends in high school & we had alot of classes together & shared many fun times.  We love her oldest child's name, Colin, and used that for our youngest son when he was born.

She never EVER gave up on me, I relapsed so many times and she always had a positive, caring, sunny disposition towards it,constantly reminding me that she would help me get better and find the right meds.  She gave me strength, courage and hope.  She truly was an angel and I thank God that I was able to meet and know such a wonderful, loving, caring, woman who ALWAYS put others before herself.
