November 12, 1935 – November 21, 2022
Our precious mother, Mieko Kildow, passed away on November 21st, 2022 joining her beloved husband, Jacob, in Heaven. She devoted her life to her family and never wanted to be the center of attention, so her Celebration of Life will be private and for immediate family members only. Friends wishing to honor Mieko are invited to make a donation in her name to their local veteran organization.
She is survived by her six children, Jack & Shelley Kildow, Robin & Steve Holton, Suzan & Beau Oshiro, Jake Kildow, JoAnn Kildow, and Dale & Melinda Kildow as well as 24 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
If roses grow in Heaven Lord, please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my mother’s arms and tell her they are from me.
Tell her I love and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while.
Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day.
But there is an ache in my heart that will never go away.
I hold you tightly within my heart and there you will remain.
Until the joyous day arrives that we will meet again.
