So sorry for your loss. Fly high Nadine Hunter into the arms of God. I worked at HP, Activities, for a few years and I so very much enjoyed your Mother. She was so special, sweet & cheerful and I loved visiting with her. Know your family is in my thoughts & prayers.

My sincere condolences on the loss of Nadine. I have known her for a number of years as a friend, my "date" for the Omaha Pipes & Drums Band Mess and our official Band Mom for many years while Jean participated with the band. She was always ready with safety pins, band-aids and other items to take care of any band emergency. Not long ago she was telling me about now being able to play "hallway bingo" and we were discussing where to go to lunch once we could go out again. I will miss our conversations and our lunches.

Nadine and Jean were both volunteers with at OPD when I worked there, in Auto Theft. They were both a joy to work with, They filed, stacked and sorted a lot on the days they came in, and I always looked forward to seeing them and chatting while we worked.

Now she's back with her beloved Jean. The thought makes me smile. I'm glad I was blessed to know them both.

Nadine was my most special friend - from our days at Leo A. Daly and for our lunches for years after her retirement - and her opening her home for weekend stays for my frequent visits from South Dakota. She treated me like a sister would - always listening and supportive - never complaining. And we had so many fun times! I will miss her so much!

Nadine was a very special lady. She was my children’s Sunday School Teacher. I remember going to Nadine’s home for Christmas cookie parties and baby showers. Nadine always listened and offered a smile and a hug. Nadine was a great friend and a joy to be with. I will miss her. With love and sympathy, Kelli McManis
