Patti was my lifelong friend from elementary school, Sunday School and church, South High, UNO, and afterwards. We spent time with her family members.. We were in each other's weddings. After marriage, we played cards, cooked together, took trips together. Patti had great taste. We took shopping trips together to Brandeis store in downtown Omaha. We stayed in touch after she moved to Minnesota, then Florida. She was fun, smart, artistic, wise, straight-talking, and an influencer.  Being friends with Patti was one of my life's greatest blessings.
