Phyllis Carrig passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019, in Omaha. Phyllis was born to John and Bernice (Thompson) Linnemann in West Point, NE and graduated from Guardian Angels High School in West Point. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, her parents, her brother, John and infant sister, Caroline, and several brothers and sisters in law.
She is survived by her children and their families: Linda (Rick) Harral of Lincoln, Doug (Mary) Carrig of Omaha, Don (Diane) Carrig of Irvine, CA, Lynette (Kevin) O’Hearn of Omaha, and Dan (Dana) Carrig of Omaha, 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brother-law Robert (Charlotte) Carrig, and sisters-in-law Karen Linden and Gladys Carrig, many nieces and nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 14, from 4:30 – 6:30p.m., with a Vigil Service following at 6:30 at Mary Our Queen Catholic Church in Omaha. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 15, at Mary Our Queen Church. Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Omaha. Memorials suggested to Guardian Angels School, West Point, NE.
