Richard Eugene Belgrave-Austin was born May 16, 1991 to Cynthia Belgrave and Richard Austin in Omaha, Nebraska. He attended Walnut Hill and Mount View Elementary, Lewis & Clark Middle School and then graduated from North High School in the year of 2009. After graduating he entered into Culinary School while taking on other jobs.
Richard enjoyed playing video games with his neighborhood friends and played football for the Lil’ Vikes in his younger years. He also loved spending time with his family. One thing he really did like was coming up with his own cuisines and making them for others to try. In 2021 Richard decided to start doing comedy. He soon found that he had a gift/passion of making others laugh while laughing at others. Richard’s passion for comedy helped him grace many stages. Richard lived a very adventurous life in the short time he was here. He and his mother would often go wine and whiskey tasting, attend many Chiefs
football games. Sometimes he and his mother would sneak to Kansas City to go to the Waffle House. He will truly be missed by everyone he made an impact on.
Richard is preceded in death by his niece, Da’Leyah Reed; grandparents, Beverly Belgrave, Carrie Ann and Ray Austin; uncle, Rodney Austin; and cousin, Rodney “Bobby” Orr-Austin.
He is survived by his mother, Cynthia Belgrave; father, Richard (Brenda) Austin; fur child, Luna; special friend Shara Lechtenberg; brothers, Charles and Carlos Belgrave- Austin; sisters, Angela Bowen and Cynethia (Danarius) Kennedy; 19 nieces and nephews; 2 great-niece and nephew; and best friends/brothers Jack, Merle, and Dan.
