Born 12/12/1921 in Omaha, NE the third son of James and Katherine Headley and husband of Delthea V (New) Headley.
He was educated in Omaha Public Schools. He served in the U.S. Army from 1943-1945 in the 530 Quartermaster Battalion and was honorably discharged. He was employed at the Asarco Refinery for 37 years. He was baptized in St. Philips Episcopal Church, which merged with the Church of the Resurrection.
He is preceded in death by wife, Delthea Headley; brother, Joe, and devoted friend, Alice Taylor.
Survived by daughters, Leslie McAuley and Deborah Taylor; grandchildren, Yvette McAuley (Dondre) Banks and Rebecca Taylor; great-grandchildren, Jordan Stuckey, Danielle, Jayre & Jaysohn Taylor; brother, Clarence Headley, Santa Monica, CA, and many close friends and bowling associates.
