Robert Eric Henderson

Robert Eric Henderson passed away on July 9, 2025 at the age of 78. He was born on September 11, 1946 in Omaha, Nebraska to Joseph and Helen Henderson. After graduating from Omaha Technical High School in 1964, Robert attended the University of Omaha and graduated with a Criminal Justice degree. In 1969, he was drafted into the United States Army and was stationed in Italy.

In 1971, after being discharged from the service, Robert again attended the University of Omaha and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He was employed by the Douglas County Sheriff's office from 1971 to 1976. He was employed by the United States Secret Service from 1976 until retirement in 1996.

Robert was married to Helen Dahlman in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They had one child, Kristen.

Survivors include his daughter, Kristen; nephews, Eric Henderson, Timothy Henderson, Kent Henderson, and Joe Henderson; niece, Jeanie Henderson; amd sister-in-law, Pam Henderson.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; his parents; brothers, Joseph and Roger.
