Shirley was born October 4, 1940 and passed away November 2, 2020.
After celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary and Shirley's 80th birthday within two weeks of each other, Roland succumbed to heart disease. Shirley soon followed her husband into Heaven less than one week later.
Roland is preceded in death by parents, Leslie Strong and Mildred Pride; brothers, Gary Strong and Don Strong.
Shirley is preceded in death by parents, Lloyd and Lucille Bland.
They are survived by sons, Steven (Kimberly) Strong and Kevin Strong; grandchildren, Tess (Anthony) Thomsen, Sophia Strong, and Benjamin Strong; great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Gracelynn, Zavier, Skye, Roselynn, and Annabelle; Roland's siblings, Sandy Larsen and Billy Pride; Shirley's siblings, Larry (Donna) Bland and Dee (Jeff) Hoefer; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 8th, 2020, from 4 - 7 pm. Funeral Service will be Monday, November 9th, 2020 at 11 am with Interment to follow. All services are at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home. Memorials suggested to American Heart Association.
