
Lang, Rosemary June 14, 1920 – July 29, 2014 Rosemary (Sheehan) Getzschman Lang passed away peacefully at the age of 94. She was the youngest of five children born to William Joseph and Mary Agnes (O’Williams) Sheehan. Rosemary is preceded in death by her parents and siblings and by her husband, Fredrick Melvin Getzschman. A widow for several years, later in life Rosemary married Eugene Lang, who also preceded her in death. Rosemary was a proud graduate of Omaha South High School and worked many years as a secretary for the Union Pacific Railroad. She loved dancing and singing and, in her later years, the Kansas City Royals baseball team. She very much enjoyed family gatherings. Rosemary lived the last several years at Richmont Village in Bellevue, Nebraska. She loved her apartment there and especially her neighbors and the staff. Rosemary is survived by her son Fredrick M. (and Susan) Getzschman Jr., and their children Beth (and Tim) Ware, Rick (and Staci) and Karl (and Tracie) Getzschman; her daughter Patty (and Russ) Perry and their children Alice (and Mike) Spence and Rusty (and Emily) Perry. Survivors also include the children of Eugene Lang – Barbara, Eugene Jr., Joan and their families. Also several great grandchildren in the greater Omaha area and in Council Bluffs and Ottumwa, Iowa, including Rosemary’s namesake, Vivian Rose Perry; as well as dear brother- and sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends. VISITATION: Tuesday, August 5, from 4 – 7 p.m., with a vigil service at 7 p.m., at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Wednesday, August 6, 10:30 a.m., at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, 200 East 6thSt., Papillion, Neb. (corner of 84 St. and Cornhusker).
