Ruth is survived by loving husband of 68 years, Donald Tucker; daughter, Lesli Wiese and son Nicholas; son, Jon and wife Joan and their children, Connor, Elise, Jana, and Jill; sister, Elizabeth Yost; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents, Leslie Lauersen and Ella Christensen. She was the youngest of four girls. She was preceded in death by Shirley Crom, husband Derald; and Marilyn Stonum and husband Kenneth; along with Robert Yost, brother-in-law.
A Memorial Service will be held at Hope Presbyterian Church, 5220 S 159th Ave, Omaha, Nebraska 68135, on June 26, 2026, at 11:00 am, with Visitation beginning at 10:00 am.
Ruth’s final resting place will be West Admah Cemetery in Washington County.
