Sharon Thomsen is preceded in death by parents, Ethel Norris and Clyde Norris; husband, Orville Thomsen, Jr.; son, Roderick Thomsen; brother, Jerry Norris. Survived by daughter, Kim Yost (Rich); grandchildren, Kelli Ryan (Jason), Julie Monico (Nathan), Brian Yost; and great-grandchildren, Kadence, Clint, Madelyn, Gabriella, Myla, Charlotte, Cecilia; brother, Richard Norris (Norma); sisters-in-law, Penny Norris, Sharon Hanson; brother-in-law, Terry Thomsen; numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Sharon taught kindergarteners with OPS for 35 years, but taught kindness and generosity her entire life.
A visitation for Sharon will be held Friday, February 16, 2024 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106. A funeral service will occur Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home.
