Veronica Cecelia Singleton was born to James & Helen Singleton on December 26th, 1954 in Baytown Texas. From Texas, the family moved to Louisiana then on to Omaha NE where she graduated from Dominican High School in 1973. While attending high school, she also attended Althouse School of Beauty where she graduated in 1974. Veronica moved to Washington State where she met & married Otis McLemore. Veronica and Otis moved to Detroit MI where their daughters Danielle and Erika were born. Veronica moved back to Omaha where she pursued and retired from her career as a Caregiver of Special Needs clients. She also worked in corrections, call center supervisor, and Omaha Public Schools.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Singleton, and nephew, Preston Singleton. She leaves to mourn her mother, Helen Singleton, daughters, Danielle McLemore Jones and Erika Miller. Grandchildren, Alyssa, Alize, Andre, Asia, and Camden, great-grandson Khepri, and Bob, whom she cared for.
Sisters, Ada Pearl and Dvorak. 3 nieces and 2 nephews. She also leaves a host of bonus sisters and brothers.
Veronica was the life of the party, Family was everything to her. She was an avid dart player where she competed in many leagues. She loved to cook and have family gatherings. She will be missed by many. She always joked that she was the son her father never had. She was very proud of all of her recent accomplishments. She was loved by many and will be truly missed
