Vickie devoted four decades of her professional life to Yellow Freight, where she worked in the office. Her commitment and loyalty were evident throughout her 40-year career. She was a proud member of the Teamsters union, standing in solidarity with her fellow workers and taking pride in being part of a community that valued hard work and unity.
Family was most important to Vickie. She is survived by her daughter Kristi(Mike), her siblings Patty(John), Eddie(Jessica), Debbie(John), her uncle Junior; two nieces; and five nephews. She held a very special bond with her "favorite" niece, with whom she shared many joyful hours making her famous Chex Mix and the popcorn that everyone loved so much. They also traveled to different scrapbooking events—preserving memories that will now serve as treasured keepsakes for those who loved her.
Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ernestine Jackson, sister Judy, and great-niece Sommer. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
In addition to her professional accomplishments and family devotion, Vickie found joy in simple pleasures. She enjoyed trips to the casino and had a passion for genealogy—tracing roots and uncovering stories from generations past. Her love for scrapbooking allowed her to combine creativity with sentimentality, capturing moments that reflected the essence of those she held dear.
