To the Champion Family,
I just recently found out about your dad and I was saddened to hear about his passing. He was always nice to Scott and I everytime we were at your house.  I remember your dad as being a hard worker and always having a big smile on his face.  Both your mom and dad were great people and they raised great kids too.

Dear Scott, Mark, Mike, Becky & Bill,
Our loving thoughts and prayers to you and your families. Your Dad was very dear to us. I will always remember our visits to his warehouses and the funny bicycle he had Steve, Mom and I ride. Mom would say, "Walt will always be a kid." He was funny, full of life, he made you laugh. We enjoyed our visits with him and would always let us know how you were. He would say "Thank God for my kids", he loved you and your mother dearly. We are so thankful for your Dad's visit to Boise this past July with your Uncle Russ & Aunt Norma for Dad's 93rd birthday. Our Dads loved sharing stories with each other. Memories of our families will forever be in our hearts.We too will miss him. We send our love.

I have only known Walt for a short time but the impact he made was one that will last a lifetime. His stories were truly enjoyable. The twinkle in his eyes and the "look" that he added made his stories come to life. His deep love for his wife and family is an inspiration and says so much about the man. My sympathy to the entire family for the loss of a truly incredible man. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Champion family and his friends.
