She was born February 12, 1935 in Dalmuir, Scotland, the daughter of Newton and Esther (Davie) Stewart. She married George E. Cady on July 6, 1974. He predeceased her on November 14, 2010.
Moving to the US from Scotland in 1960, Anne was employed for many years by Wallace Scott Motors in Briarcliff Manor as a bookkeeper. She retired in 1994.
She is survived by 3 nieces and a nephew who reside in Scotland.
A private graveside service will take place at a later date. There will be no calling hours.
Inurnment will be in the Columbarium at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Emmons.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to the Susquehanna Animal Shelter, 4841 State Highway 28, Cooperstown, NY 13326.
