Barbara Jean Fink

She was born July 20, 1930 in Oneonta the daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Edwards) Haynes.

Barbara graduated from Margaretville Central School Class of 1948.

She lived in Otsego and Delaware Counties most of her lifetime. For 30 years, Barbara worked at State University College Oneonta and belonged to the Union, CSEA – AFCNE Retiree. Barbara often talked of all the fond memories she had of working at SUNY Oneonta. Many of her great memories included the staff and all the wonderful student athletes she met.

Barbara is survived by one niece, Jill Haynes of Rensellaer; as well as several beloved cousins and many friends, including her dear friend Deborah Fiore and her family. She was predeceased by her sister, Ruth Chicorelli.

At Barbara’s request she will be cremated and there will not be any services. Her ashes will be interred in the Hillington Cemetery, Morris. Memorial donations in Barbara’s name may be made to the American Heart Association, 120 Lomond Court, Utica, NY 13502.
