Barbara Louise Stilwell

She was born November 22, 1928 in Schenevus the daughter of the late Devere and Louisa (Ives) Stilwell.

For many years, Barbara was a key punch operator at Bendix-Scintilla in Sidney.

A strong Democrat, Barbara worked all the elections. She was also the family historian and enjoyed researching the family genealogy. But Barbara had a soft spot for animals. She was an animal lover through and through.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Susan Kinderman of Gilbertsville; six grandchildren, Christopher and Sheryl Puylara of Seneca Falls, Eric Puylara of Oneonta, Marlee Puylara of Oneonta, David Kinderman of North Dakota, Colleen Kinderman of New Berlin and Brian Kinderman of Gilbertsville; 12 great grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her daughter, Ellen Moxley.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, May9, 2016 in the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oneonta from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Memorial donations may be made to the North Shore Animal League, 25 Davis Ave., Port Washington, New York 11050 in memory of Barbara.
