She was born November 13, 1939 in Stamford the daughter of the late Howard and Grace (Burgher) Oliver.
Beverly married William Davenport who survives.
For many years, Beverly was a seamstress having worked at the Oneonta Dress Factory and later Sanyo for 40+ years.
Beverly loved to go dancing and listening to country and western music. She had a special sense of humor and spent her life making everyone laugh. But what brought Beverly the most joy was her family. She always looked forward to the family get-togethers and picnics in the park.
Beverly is survived by her 3 brothers, Howard Oliver, Jr. of Otego, Gordon Oliver, Sidney Center and Robert Oliver, Sidney; as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by 3 sisters, Mary Ruling, Helen Barlow and Ruth Ann Allen.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 in the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oneonta from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4:00 PM with Major James Smith officiating. Burial will be in the spring in the Oneonta Plains Cemetery.
