Carl was my direct supervisor when I was an apprentice at the Oneonta Star back in 1969. Because I had long hair at the time he used to pick on me and call me Michele instead of Michael, but he was just joking. We got along well and he taught me many tricks of the trade. I'll never forget him. Test in peace my friend.

My condolences to Florence. Carleton and I fought many political battles together. We spent many hours going door to door campaigning. He was a great asset to the town of Oneonta!!

Rest in peace good buddy!!
