Charles R. Decker

He was born June 1, 1985 in Oneonta the son of Nicholas and Charlene (Cannon) Decker.

Charlie graduated from Walton Central School.

He worked at Cooperstown All Star Village in Oneonta and also the Depot Restaurant.

Charlie was a huge Dale Earnhardt and NY Giants fan. He also enjoyed wrestling, helping on the farm and lending a hand to anyone that needed it.

Charlie is survived by his father, Nicholas Decker, New Berlin; mother and step father, Charlene and Barney Joe Woehrle, Oneonta; siblings, Christopher Decker, Jessica Decker, Misty Crissell; grandparents, Margaret and Barney Finch and Ruth and Warren Decker; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Marge Cannon.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 in the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oneonta from 5:00 to 6:00pm. A service to celebrate the life of Charlie Decker will immediately follow with the Reverend Stephen Fournier officiating.
