Dennis M. Minerosa

Dennis was born in Oneonta on May 6, 1954, the son of Carl and Betty Jane Minerosa.

Dennis grew up and lived his life in Oneonta, taking pride in being raised as a “lower decker.” He graduated from Oneonta High School, and eventually owned his own business and managed multiple rentals in Oneonta. He had many friends and always enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing softball, the Beatles and being an avid fan of the Cowboys and the Yankees. He always loved his dogs deeply and enjoyed going to all of his sons sporting events as they grew up.

Dennis is survived by his significant other, Jennifer Sarno, his two sons, Ryan and Erik Minerosa, former wife and mother of children, Julie Minerosa, his brother, John and Donna LaMartina and his sister, Linda and Robert Skidmore. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew, Vicki and James Lyall, Caryn and T.J. Dwyer, Michael and Jackie Skidmore, and Jillian and Kyle Besemer.

He was predeceased by his parents, Carl and Betty Jane Minerosa, and nephew, Robbie Skidmore.

A celebration of life will be offered at the 6th Ward Athletic Club, 22 W Broadway, Oneonta, NY 13820 on September 28th, 2025 from 1pm- 4pm.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
