Donald L. Hunt Jr.

He was born October 7, 1959 in Newburgh the son of Donald Leroy and Betty (Jackson) Hunt, Sr.

Donny married Cindy Jeanne Terrio. Cindy predeceased him on December 14, 1997. He later married Lisa Mia Shuart in May 2001 in Port Jervis.

Donny was a truck driver and later taught at the CDL School in Albany until his health required him to retire.

He was a “grease monkey” and loved working on cars. He also had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles. Donny also loved watching and participating in sports. But most of all, Donny loved spending time with his family especially his children and grandchildren.

Donny is survived by his parents, Donald L. and Betty Hunt, Sr. of Oneonta; wife, Lisa Mia Hunt of Otego; three children, Donald L. and Nickcole Hunt III of Oneonta, Daniel Hunt of Oneonta and Victoria Hunt of Otego; two step children, Melissa Podorson of Otego and Aaron Podorson of Pittsburgh, PA; three grandchildren, Damion, Dominic and Austin Hunt; two step grandchildren, Robert and Jason McAvoy; one sister, Debra Hunt Steele of New Jersey; one nephew, Karl Wilkinson, III; and one niece, Natasha Garrison both of Middletown and their families.

There will be no calling hours or funeral services. A graveside service at the Rural Valley Cemetery, Cuddebackville will be held in the spring.
