
Esther was born July 20, 1921, in Kingston, N.Y., to the late Emma Blanchard Rougier and Joseph A. Rougier.
Mrs. Williams was an exemplary wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker, who devoted herself to caring for her family, which included her beloved pets. Mrs. Williams always sacrificed her needs for the good of others. She also worked for a number of years at the Hudson Valley Senior Residence as a nurse’s assistant.
Mrs. Williams is survived by four Daughters: Emma Taylor of Davenport, N.Y., Diane Williams of Kingston, Viola Adams of North Fort Meyers, Florida, and Barbara Stonebraker of Port Charlotte, Florida. Two Sons, Albert Rougier of Kingston N.Y. and Peter Williams of Jefferson, N.Y. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Esther is preceded in death by her husband, John Williams, son, John W. Williams, brother, Herbert L. Rougier and sisters, Olive M. Rougier Parise and Dorothy Longto.
Calling hours Sunday 2-4 pm in the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Mains St. Oneonta, N.Y. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
