Eugene P. Bright

He was born April 23, 1954 in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Rang) Bright.

Upon moving to Otego, Eugene began working for the Otsego County Highway Department as a mechanic. Due to his declining health he was forced to retire after 10 years.

Eugene loved his horses and his tractors but the love of his life was his daughter, Katelynn. He was so proud of all her accomplishments and treasured the time he spent with her.

Eugene is survived by his daughter, Katelynn Bright; his longtime companion and caregiver, Joanne Miller; his step daughter, Jennifer Miller all of Otego; one granddaughter, Charlie Mae Miller; one sister, Doreen Bright of PA. He was predeceased by his brother, Charles Bright.

At Eugene’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral services. Those who wish to make a memorial donation in Eugene’s memory may make them to the National Cancer Society, 13 Beech Street, Johnson City, New York 13790.
